On Friday, 13th June 2025, a delegation from the Paramount Chief of the Akome Traditional Area, led by the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Edith Allan Ablormeti, paid a courtesy call on the District Chief Executive, Hon. Profer Francis Dusey, at his office.
The visit was to formally congratulate the DCE and discuss key developmental issues concerning the Akome Traditional Area. A major topic of discussion was the promotion and revitalization of the area’s rich tourism potential.
As a symbol of goodwill and unity, the delegation presented a beautiful piece of artwork to the DCE.
Hon. Profer Francis Dusey expressed his appreciation for the visit and the thoughtful gesture, and shared his optimism for strengthened collaboration and development in the area.
